The most significant aspect of our work, and one of the most important areas in Arboriculture, tree care can take many forms, but generally involves pruning to industry standards. â€‹

This is usually done to promote tree health, ensure their safety and maintain aesthetics, and often involve the following;

Reduction Pruning focuses on shortening individual branches or the tree as a whole. This is usually recommended as a way of minimising the risk of failure where there are structural issues, or conflict between trees and buildings.

Deadwood Removal is just that. Removing dead branches to prevent them falling on people, property and vehicles. In certain species and circumstances reducing deadwood is an acceptable approach, and a great benefit due to its habitat value.

Crown Care This involves the removal of crossing and rubbing branches which are likely to cause issues in future, or currently are; large and unstable dead wood, and any cracked, split or partially broken branches.

In all instances correct pruning is essential. An ancient tree can be ruined in minutes by poorly informed pruning cuts. We are here to ensure that your trees are cared for correctly.
